The Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist® is a certification of expertise offered by the Corporate Health & Wellness Association (CHWA). The certification requires 13 Modules of Training classes. In order to maintain certification after the required training, Certified Corporate Wellness Specialists® must complete five hours per year of continuing education credits to stay up-to-date with industry best-practices and standards.
Certified Corporate Nutrition Professional ® (CCNP) created in conjunction with the Corporate Health & Wellness Association (CHWA), is a certification of expertise that requires 8 learning modules totaling 8 hours of education. The certification requires evidence of professional experience in wellness nutrition and the knowledge and experience to provide nutrition guidance in a work-site setting. In order to maintain certification after the required training, Certified Corporate Nutrition Professional® must complete 5 hours per year of continuing education credit to stay up to date with the best practices and standards in the industry.
The Certified Wellness Provider® is a certification
of expertise in administering wellness programs to employers launched by the Corporate Health & Wellness Association (CHWA), an employer coalition. The objective of this certification program is to allow employers to better evaluate which corporate wellness vendors employers should work with, and which ones have the most sustainable wellness programs and best practices in place.
